Upcoming Animation?

Posted by GShibeBoi - January 9th, 2023

Hey yall.

I have a question to ask yall, and some good news to say as well!

A little while back, I heard a song in a movie that really got me and I thought:

"I want to make an animation for this jaming beat!"

Well, not exactly like that, but you get the point.

I'm looking for an animating software where you could make a video by combining some drawings onto some backgrounds for the frames with music playing in the background. Something simple like Flipaclip, but with more possibilities like Pixler.

Here's the song that I would like to make an animation for:

Any feedback is highly appreciated. :3

Good luck

Thanks for the encouraging words. :D

I really think u can do it if u put your mind on it! I don't know any other animation softwares other then flipaclip tho lol

It's okay.
Thanks for your kind words. They mean a lot coming from you! :3

It's ambitious, but I have faith in ya! Songs sometimes greatly inspire me to try different things too. I haven't animated since the Flipnote Hatena days on the Nintendo DSi, couldn't tell ya what animation program is better or worse based on features and user friendliness unfortunately. Maybe YouTube reviews can help you out with that?

I haven't animated anything in a long time too. The last thing was in PixelArt.
But thanks for the clip! It's either finding an animating software or just straight up buying a drawing tablet or something of the sort.

@GShibeBoi I'd assume most animation software are ones that animate 2D drawings? But I've not heard of PixelArt (I'm old), perhaps that operates differently. I think something like Blender would animate established 3D models without the need for drawing? I know there is a program out there that does that, I just can't find the right search term to find the exact answer I'm lookin for. Either way, a drawing tablet ain't too bad to invest in when you're able.

I might be able to invest in one in the near future.
But maybe I might use Blender, just to see what you could make.
Might even make a 3D model of my oc. Who knows? :D

Thanks for the feedback.
